Air Jordan 12 Retro PSNY Michigan
The Air Jordan 12 Retro PSNY Michigan is a Player Exclusive colorway of Michael Jordan’s twelfth signature shoe that was created by Public School New York for the Michigan Wolverines football team in 2017. One of several upscale renditions of the Air Jordan 12 designed by the New York City high street fashion brand, the “Michigan” colorway never received an official release by Jordan Brand.
Images of the shoe were initially shared by Sonny Anderson, the Big Ten school’s head football equipment manager. A plush navy blue suede material covers the entire upper, including the mudguard on the forefoot, a deviation from the faux reptilian material found on the original design of the Air Jordan 12.
Varsity Maize accenting appears on the “Jumpman” plate above the midsole, on the top eyelets, and on the underside of the tongue, line,r, and pull tab. A yellow suede “M” on the tongue of the right shoe is unique to this Air Jordan 12 Retro PSNY Michigan.
